personality
There's something about Bey that sets her apart from so many other horses. She's gentle, calm, and very level headed. She has a very nice head on her shoulders and she loves the rush of racing, and when she's out on the track everyone can easily see it. She runs for fun, she wins for fun because it's what she loves to do. She's very balanced and an elegant runner, she doesn't waste any energy in excess movements.
She's actually a rather dominant horse but it's not towards people. Bey's very bendable and trainable and it certainly shows in how versatile she really is. She can often be found sweeping her eyes over the track like she owns the place and she definitely thinks she does. Bey always has her ears perked high and her eyes wild with excitement when she's around the track. She buzzes through her works with such speed that she's often mistaken for a rather mature colt. Very competitive, Bey does like to mow down horses as soon as she catches them in her line of vision during her works and when she puts in her final bid for the wire.
There's only one flaw to this beautiful grey filly, she hates losing, hates it. She'll sit in the back of her stall and grump around for several days after a loss and really only perks up when she's out on the track. She'll always put forth her best effort in every race and every work and it's part of what makes everyone love her around the barn.
Bey loves sitting in the middle of the pack and unleashing her incredible speed at the end of the race. However, she can run just about anywhere but the front in a race. It's not that her jockey won't send her there, she simply hates it when she's forced on a lead and refuses to go there. So she's normally held back at the beginning to prevent such a event from happening. Sometimes she likes to hang way back, around ten to fifteen lengths behind the leaders and fly down the stretch at a full out sprint and nab the win by a nose at the wire. She's one of those closers that can make up massive amounts of ground in a very short period of time.
