Full Flight Farm Staff
Connor Sullivan, Owner: Known as a womanizer in his younger days, Connor has always fought that old reputation and his father's criminal past. It wasn't until he met Savannah Morey that he really found his new path. He met Savvy at Green Horse Fields the day of the Kentucky Derby in Y15. She was in the next box over from the Battle Brook Stable box and she seemed to have her eye on him more than was comfortable. Prodded by his friend Malcolm Floyd, Connor accosted her, wined her and dined her and fell head over heels in love with her. With Savvy by his side, Connor felt invincible. He first broached the topic of opening a stable, but it was her idea to convince Malcolm and Ripley Marsh in on the operation
Savannah Morey (Savvy), Owner: Savvy's family is a well-respected racing family out in California. Horse racing and riding was in her blood and became more of an obsession first before becoming her way of life. With her family's support, Savvy was out in Kentucky to find some horseflesh. She ended up with much more than that. Fast forward a year, she has new friends, a new husband and a new stable to tend to. She pursued all avenues with Malcolm and after much consideration, he was game to convince Ripley that this was the right move.
Jacob Briggs, Trainer: The final piece of Full Flight Farm was discovered in a 68 year old man considered beyond his prime in New York. Jacob was living a life of endless advice to the newest hotshots in the racing world when Savvy approached him about training a second flight of runners for Battle Brook Stable. He gave it a week of thought, but he did agree much to Connor and Ripley's shock and Savvy's delight. He plans on bringing his old ways to help reinvigorate BBS's training regimen and coax some new talent to the top of the herd.
Kendall Williams, Jockey: Kendall is what you would call the perfect school girl. A++ every assignment, glasses, sweaters, and a hair up in a studied ponytail everyday. She was the girl that was picked on in high school, the one that was used for good grades in exchange for false friendship. Kendall escaped to the horse farm every weekend, learning how to jump and speak the language of silence. It is at the barn that Kendall could be herself, could feel her inner-strength. Every weekend was a saving grace for Kendall, a time when she could leave her worries behind her and just be happy. Kendall was brought to Witch Creek Stable when her family won a contest to come view Witch Creek's race horses in action. Ripley noticed the girl, saw the hunger and a familiar longing and invited Kendall to come join Witch Creek at least as an intern. Kendall said yes and mainly grooms, but has picked up the reins a couple of times on the retired racehorses at Witch Creek. She will continue on as an exercise rider for the stallions and yearlings as an assistant to Al and Malcolm.
